Review for Vamps and the City
Author: Kerrelyn Sparks
Date of Review: 09/26/09
Reviewed by: Linda Hirscher

Reviewer Comments: This, in my opinion, is the weakest in the series of books written by Kerrelyn Sparks. The premise is a television show reality show, which was what drew my attention to the book. Unfortunately, the candidates for this show were bland and one was outright silly - I'm talking about Otto and his remark about being in the Otto Zone. Since it was a reality show and the contestants were competitive, the infusion of humor didn't play well.

Despite the interesting premise, this book was difficult to read and lost steam after the first few chapters. Perhaps it's just my perception or that I expected too much after reading How To Marry a Millionaire, which was done much better.
